SOALIB

SOA products and consulting

Over the past five years, Soalib has developed a suite of SOA libraries that will allow companies to develop SOA applications more efficiently, more effectively and over a much shorter time-frame than any other SOA technology. We can achieve this because we've built our libraries to work across a wide range of operating systems, application servers, client environments, programming languages, mobile devices, security environments and databases. That's because, we've always viewed SOA as a true heterogeneous architecture, and it's for that reason, that our platform agnostic approach enables the true inter-operability of the multiple languages, diverse technologies, disparate databases and heterogeneous legacy platforms.

So, no matter what that environment, whether it consists of mainframes, embedded systems and everything in between, utilizing Soalib as your SOA development platform is a guarantee of success, because we're simply built to work on all of them!

So, because of Soalib's extensive experience in SOA across all possible platforms, the use of Soalib's Consulting Services on your existing or next SOA project will result in a significant savings of time, money and resources. The result will be a SOA solution that works across all of your existing technology and will cater for all of your future technology requirements, as well.

TRUE SOA

SOALIB products support multiple operating environment

The power of SOA comes from the fact that it should work from a heterogeneous environment. The power of SOA comes - ONLY if it can work across a heterogeneous environment. SOALIB provides more true SOA functionality across multiple operating environments, than all other SOA providers. The following chart compares SOALIB capabilities to all other available solutions.

Features SOALIB Solutions Other's Solutions
Works on Unix, Linux, Mac OS X, Solaris, z/OS YES YES, if Java based
Supports J2ME Mobile Client Devices YES Some
Supports .NET Client Environment YES Very Limited
Supports C++ Client Environment YES Very Limited
Supports C Client Environment YES Very Limited or None
WS-Security Ready YES Some
Supports WebSphere, WebLogic, Oracle App Server, GlassFish, Tomcat, Jetty, Resin, JBoss, Sun App Server YES Supports only a few from this list
Both 32 and 64 bit Ready YES YES, if Java based
Supports 24 multi-vendor databases YES No. They claim to support, but none of them exhaustively tested.
Can perform cross database synchronization with accuracy YES SOA Testing in this area is severely limited.
Can perform table and data type mapping and transformation at runtime YES Not through SOA.
Supports z/OS and mainframes YES Some, but most other focus on x86 platforms.
Can perform Delta Synchronization bi-directionally YES Can do delta sync, but most cannot do bi-directionally.
Supports unlimited number of delta engines YES Only single delta engine is used.
Can perform Synchronization time mixing YES Some non-SOA based solutions exist.
Can perform Peer-to-Peer, Peer-to-Host and Host-to-Host Synchronization YES NO. Most can do peer to host or host to host.

TRUE Integration

SOALIB integrates with anything and everything!

SOALIB's operating environment spans across all the common platforms. Be it mobile, embedded systems, or mainframes, SOALIB can connect and integrate them together under SOALIB web services. Once a SOALIB web service is running, all of the operating devices regardless of where they are located and how they are developed become visible and can communicate. Think of the possibility of an industrial RFID based device sending XML message to your mobile phone, or to the mainframe for processing. It is also possible to perform peer-to-peer data synchronization using SOALIB. It is not impossible to sync data in a embedded system to a central database.

SOALIB's focus is not only in data integration. In fact, SOALIB also has web services available for global email access, credit/debit card payment services, Fedex/UPS/DHL/USPS shipping services, Peer-to-Peer Instant Messaging, and many other services. SOALIB is continuously architecting new services and each of these services supports all of the operating environments.

SOALIB technology is *Patent Pending*.
